Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 450g flank steak, sliced thin
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • Sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef in soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Blanch or steam broccoli until crisp-tender; set aside.
  3. Sear beef in hot oil until browned; remove.
  4. Stir-fry garlic and ginger, add oyster sauce and a splash of water.
  5. Return beef and broccoli, toss to coat.
  6. Finish with sesame oil and serve over rice.
