Ingredients
- 0.25 cup garlic confit
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 0.5 tsp chili flakes
- Salt salt
- as needed black pepper
- 1.5 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 loaf sourdough bread
- 0.25 cup finely grated Parmesan
- 1.25 cup shredded mozzarella
Instructions
- Mix garlic confit with softened butter, chili flakes, a pinch of salt, black pepper, and parsley until fully combined to make the garlic butter.
- Slice sourdough in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter all over both halves. Top with Parmesan first, then finish with mozzarella.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted, then broil for 1–2 minutes for golden spots. Watch closely.
- Sprinkle with extra parsley and a light pinch of chili flakes.
