Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, celery)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 pie crusts
Instructions
- Sauté onion and vegetables in butter until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over, cook 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in stock and milk; simmer until thickened.
- Stir in chicken; season to taste.
- Pour filling into a bottom pie crust, top with second crust, seal and vent.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 35-40 minutes until golden.
