Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Whisk dry ingredients together.
- Whisk buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter separately.
- Combine wet and dry until just mixed.
- Pour into a greased baking pan or cast iron skillet.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
