- as needed Italian sausage
- as needed butter
- as needed shallots
- as needed garlic
- as needed dried oregano
- as needed garlic salt
- as needed Kinder’s Butter seasoning
- as needed heavy cream
- a splash of pasta water
- cooked rigatoni
- as needed Parmesan cheese
- as needed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Cook sausage until browned, then remove.
- In the same pan, sauté butter, shallots, and garlic.
- Season with dried oregano, garlic salt, and Kinder’s Butter seasoning.
- Add heavy cream and a splash of pasta water and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
- Toss in cooked rigatoni, add the sausage back in, and mix until coated.
- Finish with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
