Ingredients

  • as needed Italian sausage
  • as needed butter
  • as needed shallots
  • as needed garlic
  • as needed dried oregano
  • as needed garlic salt
  • as needed Kinder’s Butter seasoning
  • as needed heavy cream
  • a splash of pasta water
  • cooked rigatoni
  • as needed Parmesan cheese
  • as needed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage until browned, then remove.
  2. In the same pan, sauté butter, shallots, and garlic.
  3. Season with dried oregano, garlic salt, and Kinder’s Butter seasoning.
  4. Add heavy cream and a splash of pasta water and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss in cooked rigatoni, add the sausage back in, and mix until coated.
  6. Finish with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
