Ingredients

  • as needed Roma tomato
  • as needed Red onion
  • (just the white part) Green onion
  • as needed Cucumber
  • as needed Cilantro
  • as needed Serrano pepper
  • (we parboiled it then let it finish cooking in lime, but you can leave it raw and let the lime cook it fully) Shrimp
  • as needed Lime
  • as needed Salt
  • (we use pico pica!) Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Chop the Roma tomato, red onion, green onion (white part only), cucumber, cilantro, and serrano pepper.
  2. Prepare the shrimp: either parboil it and then let it finish cooking in lime juice, or use raw shrimp and let the lime juice cook it fully.
  3. Combine all the chopped vegetables and the prepared shrimp in a bowl.
  4. Season the mixture with lime juice, salt, and hot sauce (such as Pico Pica!) to taste.
