- 1.5 kg potatoes
- 400 g milk
- 500 g heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic
- as needed Thyme
- as needed bay leaf
- as needed Salt
- as needed black pepper
- 30 g butter
- as needed shredded cheese
Instructions
- Slice the potatoes and arrange them evenly in the baking dish.
- Mix the milk, cream, garlic, and butter in a pot, season with thyme, salt, and black pepper, then place over the heat.
- Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes, then cover the dish with parchment paper first, followed by aluminum foil.
- Place it in the oven at 200°C for 1h30min.
- Once cooked, top with shredded cheese and return it to the oven until melted, then take it out.
