Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken breast
- (contains salt) Sazon
- as needed Garlic powder
- as needed Paprika

- as needed Oregano or Italian seasoning
- as needed Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 0.5 onion onion
- 3 cloves garlic cloves
- tsp salt
- 1 can tomato paste
- 0.5 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- Splashes of as needed water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- handfuls baby spinach
- chopped (optional) parsley
Instructions
- Slice chicken breast thin and season with Sazon, garlic powder, paprika, mild red chili, crushed red pepper flakes, oregano or Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add crushed garlic cloves and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in garlic powder, paprika, mild red chili, crushed red pepper flakes, oregano or Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt to taste.
- Add the can of tomato paste and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently, adding splashes of water as needed to create a sauce base and prevent sticking.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Add the baby spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce, ensuring it's heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
- Serve the Marry Me Chicken immediately over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
