Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper
- 0.5 cup walnuts
- 3.5 cloves garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp honey
- 0.5 tsp cumin seeds
- 0.25 tsp red chili powder
- Salt, to taste salt
Instructions
- Roast the bell pepper directly over a gas flame until charred on all sides or roast it in a preheated oven at 220°C for 15–20 minutes until the skin is blistered and charred.
- Transfer the roasted pepper to a bowl, cover for 10 minutes. Peel off the skin.
- Lightly toast the walnuts until fragrant.
- Add the roasted pepper, walnuts, garlic, breadcrumbs, olive oil, lemon juice, honey, cumin seeds, red chili powder, and salt to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, garnish with crushed walnuts if desired & serve with anything you like.
